Substitute Teachers

The Harbor School is seeking Substitute Teachers for the 2008-2009 school year to work collaboratively with Lead or Associate Teachers. The school provides a supportive and nurturing environment with an emphasis on the development of the whole child. Experience with young children is preferred.

The School accepts candidates for teaching positions with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or other relevant fields; state certification is not required, but advanced degrees are encouraged;
  • A strong commitment to educating a diverse student body;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; and
  • Dedication to professional growth and learning.
